Our customer required angle graduations engraved onto brass dials for sun compasses he had been commissioned to manufacture.

The project entailed creating the artwork and engraving the edge graduations on all the dials first. A high level of accuracy was required to make sure the graduations were 100% correct The face engraving was engraved using a fixture to line up both engravings on the dial.
